This week the Tweenies have been busy creating Christmas are for the Tweenies room. We have made Santa hats using glitter and cotton wool. The children painted their hands and got very messy while making Christmas trees and they painted their feet which was slightly less popular than hands to make reindeers. We glued stars and a variety of cut out shapes to make melted snowman and stockings. The children have been practising singing songs for the Christmas tree lighting. We have exploring our hot chocolate salt dough and have been busy making truffles to send home. The Tweenies have loved using glitter and cotton wool and we explored our Christmas bobble, cotton wool and tinsel sensory tray posting and hiding the different objects around the Tweenie Room. We created and displayed our handprint/ footprint art using a recycled cardboard box and the children work to create a lovely nativity scene.
