The allotment is weathering the winter well, and I have been able to get some winter jobs done such as painting the shed, working out crop rotation, cutting the willow hedges and generally having a very good tidy up.
The children are not visiting the allotment just now as there are just not enough jobs for them to be involved in quite yet.
However, their allotment time is being used for woodland play and eco school work on the theme of transport and air quality. They are also planting at nursery.
We hope to be back at the allotment as soon as the weather warms up. We can’t wait to get the seeds started and see the Spring bulbs flowering!
